broken little child
I was four, four and sitting on the last step of the stairs trying not to listen to the screaming, I would go to my grandparents house and wait it out until I thought I would be okay there, but mom asked who would I rather stay with and me being a little kid I didn't know how much pain that caused me, the next morning we left as the years grew I noticed that I needed to be independent and not weak, she pretened to care, they all do but they don't I learn how to make food and how drinks for my mother when she didn't want to and I learned to try not to cry in front of my father because I would be weak, I stayed silent and the world collapses under my feet.
