Broken Dreams
In shadows deep, I stumble on worn ground, My bones ache with the weight of burdens bound. Fatigued and weary, each step feels like lead, A soul weary, longing for a soft bed. Eyes heavy with the weight of countless tears, Heart heavy with the weight of unspoken fears. In silence, I carry the weight of my strife, A symphony of sorrow, the song of my life. Through the darkness, I search for a glimmer of light, A beacon of hope to guide me through the night. But the darkness persists, unyielding and cold, And I'm left to wander, lost and untold. Yet amidst the shadows, a whisper of grace, A gentle reminder of a brighter place. Though tired and broken, I still hold on tight, For tomorrow may bring a dawn of new light.
