Broken.
In shadows deep, where sorrow's whispers hide, I dwell, a vessel of blame, unjustified. Each tear that falls, a testament to my pain, Yet all he sees is a woman, "damaged goods" in disdain. I long for understanding, a connection profound, A symphony of souls, where healing can be found. But his ears, they seem deaf to my heartfelt plea, Lost in his own world, blind to my desperate decree. I yearn for more, a love that knows no bounds, To dance with him on dreams' ethereal grounds. But his eyes, they perceive only brokenness and strife, Unable to fathom the depths of my hidden life. Oh, how I ache for him to truly see.
