bright red apple
you gave me an apple, a bright shiny red one, you looked at me with a smile, insisting me to eat it. i greet your smile back, accepting the minor gift, i took a bite of that apple, and realised you had poisoned it. and as I crumble to my knees, I watched your cunning grin, i looked at you confused, not knowing my world would spin. as you bent down before me, your figure oh so tall, i looked at you with a pout, it had struck me that you had never really loved me at all.
