It's hard to say goodbye To someone who was once so close. The memories we shared Are now just ghosts. I thought we had forever, But forever came too soon. Now I'm left with a broken heart And memories of me and you. I remember the way you smiled, The sound of your laughter so sweet. But now all I hear is silence, And it's hard to move my feet. I thought we were meant to be, That our love was strong and true. But now I'm standing here alone, Wondering what I'm supposed to do. The nights are long and lonely, And the days are filled with pain. I wish I could turn back time And make everything right again. But I know that's not possible, And I have to face the truth. That you're no longer mine, And I have to find a way to move. It's hard to say goodbye, To someone who was once my world. But I know I have to be strong, And let my broken heart unfurl. So I'll take it one day at a time, And try to find my way. And maybe one day I'll find love again, And the pain will fade away.
