Breakfast
Sometimes in the morning I just feel Numb I want to sit in a dark room And just Exist On those mornings All I want Is to feel something Anything So I eat I'm never actually hungry I don't eat to calm myself down I eat because I know That I'll hate myself for it Hate the fact that I ate when I wasn't starving Hate the fact that I need food To continue living Hate the fact that Anger is the only emotion That I'm not too scared To feel So I eat breakfast In hopes That I feel something On those days When I feel nothing And The saddest part About this whole poem Is I sit her Writing it Feeling all the words Cut I sit her and write While eating a Donut
