Brass
A softened soul, with a heart of gold, compassion flowed through her veins A generous heart, saw giving as art, she was sunshine through pounderous rains While the world around her dark, her smile was a token of light It only grew brighter, with an "at first sight" An illusion of light, a golden mimic, he was a masked facade of joy Loving at first, a master with words, he was a silence that brought on storms Those beautiful words, never she heard, she never expected to fall In love or depression, but depressed she now was With the question of the centry stuck to her tounge And as for her light, still beautiful, less bright Dulled by the mimic of gold, and an iced over heart she never did hold And the question she asked, with a tear on her face she looked in his eyes and said "How could you make Brass out of beautiful gold?"
