Brain Game
A world where truth’s a lie, Where every scene is scripted, every sky, We walk the paths they draw, Eyes wide but blind to the flaw. Thoughts not our own, voices in our head, Telling us what’s right, what’s dread. We live in a dream, not our own, In a kingdom where the mind’s dethroned. But if we wake, if we see, The puppets we are, we could be free. Yet the comfort of chains is sweet, And so, we dance to their beat. In this world, we remain, Brainwashed, but free of pain.
