Boundaries
I walked into the room, heart quiet and head high, maybe I seemed cold, maybe I did. But you didn't see me the night I cried over the silence she gave me, the trust she broke carelessly, the way I held all the pain. She sat there like time hadn't left a trace, I held held my silence like a gentle embrace, they laughed, and I smiled but not in her way, it wasn't revenge just a girl who had learn what boundaries mean. I showed up. But I didn't pretend . I'm just different now. And some doors, even the softest one's , are better left closed.
