Botany
The garden lay in morning light, a shadow appears in all its might. Watering me and my peers all the same. I begun budding flowers , while my peers had mere leaves. "This flower can grow all on its own" the figure said. I can't place my finger on it, but those words stuck in my head I grew in drought and in rain, the others hated me although I was not to blame. The figure stopped watering me, but I kept growing. It praised me, and I just kept going. Soon I grew around the same pace as others, a little faster, nothing more. However, the figure knew what I could do and asked me to water the other plants too. I begun to get thirsty, for the first time I remember. But I didn't want to ask, I wasn't that humble. I didn't want the figure to realize I had begun to stumble. I caught some water when she watered the others, and hoped I'd be able to grow. But my flowers wilted, I hid it too I got my own water, I did what I knew. I was told to keep watering the others "you need to use your gift to help the others" I can still grow my flowers all pretty, but is it worth the sacrifice within me? No water left for my branches and leaves. And I wither wither away And all that's left of me are my flowers.
