Boredom: A Symphony of Stillne
In chambers dim where silence dwells, The ticking clock like ghostly knells. A shadow slides across the floor No name, no shape, just ache at core. I heard a fly buzz, not in death, But in the stillness, short of breath. The soul slumps back in Sunday white Boredom wrapped in too-tight light. Oh to be drifting like a cloud, But stuck beneath this ceiling proud. No daffodils or songs of spring Just screen glow and the nothing it brings. Time drips like coffee stains on stone, The room a kingdom, me a throne. Between intent and act, I lie, Scrolling memes to justify. It’s all bullshit. Same chair, same fridge, same air. The world sells joy in neon lies. I flick the switch. Let silence rise. i wait for something to begin forgetting motion starts within.
