Borderline Blues
Borderline Blues Yesterday's a blur, a fogged-up glass, A memory lost, a shattered past. Triggered, I fell, a painful slide, Emotions raw, a tempest inside. A hundredfold, the pain does sting, A wound so deep, it makes me sing Of failure's weight, a heavy load, Tears streaming down, a sorrowful road. Loneliness creeps, a chilling fear, Sadness lingers, year after year. The next day's dawn, a sickly sight, My body's weak, my spirit's light. My partner's heart, a mirror clear, Reflects my pain, my every fear. A shared emotion, a bond so deep, In sorrow's depths, we both do weep.
