Blues
Thinking the best, then become a wreck Live in the west, ain't right or left. Feeling strong and powerful, then down right wrong and remorseful. Lived in skyscrapers that are sky-high, then been homeless in alleyways wide eyed. Never forget where you come from, in the end we all are dirt when the time comes. I've seen it all and lived my best. Been down low and never had a rest. Syringes, and foil scattered across the land. And we get high to try and get rid of stress. When squares and crystal don't get us there. We turn and smoke blues, and sing the blues. Yeah we smoke blues and sing the blues. Until our lips and skin turn pale. Not ashes to dust, we overdose and in an alleyway we smoked our last gust. We sing the blues. We smoke them blues.
