Blue December
As the month approached I thought for one it'll be good, Little did I know, it wouldn't Dawn came as the birds chirped Rain showers danced all the way, Wind howled like a werewolf would Something did not feel right A little baby boy: dreaming of whatever In his cot where nobody disturbed him We heard tragic news just after his sleep I for one was not ready; denial stage Reality started kicking in Mother asked a rhetorical question That we had no answer to Where is my baby: is he still sleeping Dumbfounded as we all are fo find, That he was now deep in slumber What a blue December it is The month was supposed to be fun But instead it was sorrowful, May the little cub: rest and know that He will forever shine in our hearts And that he is not alone As Mom decided to also sleep.
