Blot on my soul
Once again, the rain falls, And my heart weeps, louder Than the thunder rumbling above, Echoing through the storm. Why these tears again? I thought it was over… Yet, here I stand, aching— Aching for myself. The past whispers its ghosts, A cruel reminder of wounds once sealed. I shudder beneath the downpour, Seeking solace in its embrace. Can this heavy rain cleanse my stains, Wash away the weight I bear? I reek of memories, decayed and rotten, Once cherished, now a burden to my soul.
