Sweet as my mind when you stared at me Staring is rude they used to tell us But you didn't utter a word I saw our friendship flicker like a flame Just to disappear My heart shattered To a millions pieces of a prized vase It felt hallow the place I had for you had been cut out I saw our past blow away like dust But I didn't murmur a word I turned and left As the blood filled my mouth It tasted sweet Than sour I tried to swallow the blood It kept filling up my mouth I began to choke My lungs filled with blood Until I heard someone behind me utter "Why are you crying?"
