Blood On The Moon
There's blood on the moon tonight, red rivers run deep on its surface. I fear most what appears clearly in sight; perhaps the downfall of the human race. So swollen and angry the moon. It's not at all like its usual bright. Maybe the sun awoke it too soon, or it's caught in a miserable plight. We have to be better than we've been if we are to win at the end of the day. We can't claim an aversion to sin, then lose our nerve at the start of the way. We no longer can choose to worship war; for all that some love it, that god is dead. What deity now should we strive to restore? We can't live in the past, we must move ahead. For those who will tell you violence brings peace, I don't believe that to be actually true. And, until all of our human hostilities cease, we can't show proper respect or our love imbue. As long as we choose hate over love, there will never be peace on this earth. Because there are always those who approve that violence has something of worth. I pray you enjoin peace, if not a pacifist's view, then a perception that being neutral is best: That violence and war we must all eshew, for only through peace will love manifest.
