Blind Love
There once was a boy with a heart so wide, Who gave without question, with nothing to hide. He smiled through the silence, he stayed through the pain, Chasing a girl who danced in the rain. He gave her his time, his money, his world, While she barely noticed the love he unfurled. Late-night calls that she would ignore, But he’d still show up, heart wanting more. He’d cancel his plans, just to see her face, While she treated his love like a losing race. He called her his queen, his one and his all, But she saw a fool who would always fall. He bought her gifts, he paid her bills, Thought love was shown through wallet and will. But she had her eyes on another game, A different boy, a different flame. And one cold night, without goodbye, She walked away, let his heart die. He stared at the sky, asked himself, “Why?” While she smiled in someone else's eye. So listen, brothers, be wise, be strong, Don’t let blind love lead you wrong. Love with your heart, but bring your mind, Don’t lose yourself trying to make her kind. Be vigilant, value your worth and time, Not all who smile are worth your climb. Don’t give your soul for temporary highs Real love sees you.
