Bleeding
I open the front to a story except its my own Independently bleeding, never knew what it meant before From stage to stage, everything just feels like survival I turn the pages, each had blood sown With pain and despair, I could never wish for something more Invisible scars, overwhelming emotions, they welcome my arrival Yet, I am lost Lost in how much my life cost I just wanted to vanish Vanish in thin air, raw, unfurnished But they liked when I hid under the mask A pain so deep I forget about it, even while still bleeding Cause they wanted me to fill the task Needed me for their own survival, selfish and grinning It destroys me, But I don't speak Life's the metal of the key But my rusty metal already reeks Blood makes it reek, And sometimes, they know it But they'd rather witness me jumping from the peak Than help when I need it Those people enjoy destruction, They like watching the world burn And sometimes, maybe sometimes I deserve that erosion? Independent and bleeding, I still never learn That those people are not my friends From my book "Blood runs Thicker than Water"
