blanket love
I crave blanket love I dont want to reshape and reform To fit into someone's mold I want to be the cup No longer the liquid Oh to be filled with love Instead of chipped away at Rough edges removed To fit snug in another's idea Their "dream partner" For I am only me from now on Mostly rough edging Waiting for the embrace Of love's sandpaper To be smoothed and refined But still intacked; whole Wrapped up and held together The cloth taking my shape engulfed in that warmth Oh how I crave that blanket love
