Black Rainbow
My soul is a secret, a flame in the night, A rainbow suppressed, a song out of sight. I hide my true colors, lest they be seen, For fear of the judgment that would intervene. In a world full of brightness, my hues are concealed, A tapestry hidden, a story untold. I long to be free, to let my heart shine, But the chains of convention keep me confined. So I dance in the shadows, my spirit concealed, A secret symphony, my passion revealed. Though my voice may be muted, my heart beats true, In a world of conformity, I'll always be me. Though I may not be able to shout it aloud, My identity sings, my spirit unbound. In the silence of night, my soul takes flight, A symphony of colors, a radiant light.
