black and blue
I looked into the sky, looking at you and wondering why; or even what I ever did to deserve someone as wonderful as you. My gaze it shifted lower to the ground, My one time smile metamorphosed into a frown; losing you in the end is something I always feared and knew. Now you're gone and I sit and question, with much inflections upon the perplexions; of the silence and the boredom of what now to do. Strange how the hindsight is twenty on the twenty, Regrets of shameful piles a plenty like dirty money; My heart now bruised up black to purple to shades of sadness blue. The clouds they fill up the day and night time skies, No more good time truths within either of our lives; Fly far away from me now, you're better off if you just flew.
