Bittersweet Angel
The sun yawns and spreads her final light of the day, and the moon wakes up to watch the night This means the day has finally ended I'm relieved, as I want to mold myself into my bed, but a sadness tugs on my dress and makes me turn around Along with the night means I must say goodnight to my angel; my love I sigh and mutter "Well, I guess I'll see you in the morning my dear" "I can't wait that long" he replies I laugh, but I feel the same. He walks me to my door, and we have our last bittersweet kiss as I shut my door and fall onto my sheets It's now almost midnight My eyes flutter shut and my breathing grows deep as I finally fall asleep, but all I see is him. I've spent every waking second with him, and even grew annoyed in the heat with him and yet I miss him He's a door away in his own bedroom and I miss him My precious angel
