Bitter Sweet
To love you, To enjoy you, To taste you. Sweet to my lips, To my tongue, I crave you. A single taste Is not enough, I need more. Do it wrong, You are too bitter, Add what is wrong, Too strange. Add what I love, But cannot have, My gut is in disarray. For the mornings I need you, To feel myself, To make it through. How lovely, To add such a simple thing. Simple two tea spoons of sugar, My coffee. -A poem by a lactose intolerant, coffee drinking nobody.
