Bitter sweet
We loved in chapters, soft and slow, Like rivers learning where to flow. Your laughter lingered in the air, A melody too bright to bear. We built our world with fragile hands, Wrote dreams in dust, drew hearts in sand. And though we knew all things must pass, We hoped that love, at least, would last. But time, that quiet, ruthless thief, Turned joy to echoes, growth to grief. You left, and in the hollowed space, I searched for you in every place. Now memories are what I keep A garden grown where I still weep. Each moment blooms, then fades again Sweet with the touch, bitter with pain. Still, I am more for having known A love that carved me to the bone. Not every loss is incomplete Some endings taste… *Bitter Sweet*..........
