Bird Love
Behold the pigeon, love's faithful servant, Fluttering wings, a heart with purpose fervent, A cupid's arrow, deep in its breast, A winged messenger, sent on love's behest. With cooing lullabies and preening bright, The pigeon's heart takes wing in flight, Through city streets and winding lanes, In search of a mate, to share its pains. The world may sneer, and call it vain, But the pigeon's heart beats wild, unchained, For love is the song, that every heart yearns, A symphony that soars, in each love that burns. And thus the pigeon flies, on winds of fate, Its heart alive, with love's passionate flame, A messenger of love, across the skies, In search of a heart, where true love lies. Through sun and storm, it takes to the sky, In search of a love that will never die, Yet even in flight, the path is unclear, And the pigeon falters, blinded by fear. It crashes hard, into a building's might, Its wings now broken, its heart in plight, But love's sweet song, it cannot ignore, And so the pigeon rises, bruised but more. With wings now mended, its spirit's strong, The pigeon takes flight, with hope and song, For love's pursuit, is a noble quest, And the pigeon's heart, will never rest.
