bidding goodbye
She flaunts her way into my mind, A beautiful curse, yet so refined — A haunting wreck, a tale untold, A flame that flickers, soft yet bold. Her scent invades both day and night, A whisper clinging, frail yet tight. Her smile, a spark that lights the air, With teeth like pearls that dance in there. She drifts like winds through meadow’s glow, A shadow whispering, soft and low. Her mind’s a storm — yet oddly sweet, With childlike steps that skip and fleet. She hides her heart in walls of lies, Yet silent sorrow stains her eyes. In morning’s light and evening’s cries, She gleams with grief yet smiles that shine. And as I go, her spirit sighs — Melancholic... as we bid goodbyes.
