"Beyond the Veil of Dreams"
In shadows deep, I wish to sleep, To flee this world, its sorrows steep. Where sight grows dim, and life's a bore, Each day's a loop, a tiresome chore. Repeat, replay, the same old scene, A monochrome life, a barren screen. No hues of joy, no shades of glee, Just mundane echoes of what used to be. Oh, how I long to break away, To find a path, a different way. To chase the stars, to touch the skies, And bid this stagnant world goodbye. But dreams, they linger, in twilight's grasp, A fleeting hope, a fragile gasp. Yet still, I close my eyes to dream, To escape this reality's silent scream.
