between two hearts
I wish this distance in between us was closer But that would bring unforseen disaster If only we could be together But the chasm is too large The feelings so new yet so deep The impossibilites warming and fleeting And I'm way to nervous and my body too weak What are we anyways to think of something more? A joy never lasting or a heart ache waiting to be endured Listen to the wise and never fall for me I'm never good like cavities on teeth A beast to put down don't cry and plead I'm my own worst enemy don't wait to see Moving to you with nothing but greed If I reach out hand stretch smack it down Let the gaze of my eyes lose their light The burning of my heart to extinguish never to ignite Sever my legs and stop them running Let the searching of the soul lose its ways Close this door and look away For you are like the sun and I the moon Never to be together for it will always spell doom.
