between the two
he holds my heart like glass just to drop it when he's bored. says nothing, means less, but still— he’s the echo i chase. the other stands beside me, soft hands, steady voice, waits without pushing, hurts without showing. he deserves someone whole. but i’m split. one half still watches the shadows, hoping they turn to light. the other knows better, feels the warmth but won’t move closer. i like the one who stays. but i miss the one who ran. it makes no sense, but feelings don’t ask for logic— they just burn. i wish i could choose the one who chooses me. but some part of me is still waiting for the wrong one to turn around.
