Between Reality and Insanity
In the cruel light of dawn's first touch, I stumble on the edge of dream and wake, A rift where shadows loom, too much— A veil that cracks, the mind's own quake. The mirror mocks with fractured face, Reflecting whispers twisted, wild, Voices claw through the thin airspace, And sanity’s thread is ever defiled. Each morning light's a blade so sharp, It cuts through echoes of fractured sound, I chase the truth, but it's a darkened harp, Playing notes where madness is unbound. My thoughts are threads in tempest's spin, A tapestry of chaos, tearing through, Reality's grip grows ever thin— Insanity’s grip is cold and true.I grasp at specters in the haze, Wrestling with shadows that twist and writhe, Dawn's embrace, a blinding blaze, Where reality and madness thrive.
