Between love and faith.
I am a prisoner of love and belief, Caught in a war I cannot win. Pulled away, I lost my home The day she was taken away from me. She is my heart, a fragment of my soul, A compass guiding me through a world so unfair. How could a fractured heart choose between love and faith? Yet am I wrong to love, to feel? To crave a pure bond that's beyond forever? I kneel, I weep, I ask for guidance, Lost in the sorrow of an endless fight, Between my identity and the values I'm taught to obey. My heart trembles in fear, Aches by the overwhelming sting of pain. Crystalline tears fall like torrential raindrops On my sacred ground, asking for a plea of the way. I’ve lost my way, the path unclear, For my compass, my love, has disappeared. A part for her, a part for You. Oh, Allah, guide this broken heart, Help me piece these worlds apart. Yet whispers of her name still echo in my silent prayers, Pleading for fate to bring my love to me again.
