Better Days (that were O.K.)
I had this crazy dream last night I can't remember what it was I used to write them down when I got up Now I have to time for that stuff I used to lay and read in bed Now I get up, go to work instead And even when I have the time All I want to do is rest my mind And the time is passing by I still feel so far behind Pretty soon, I'll be gone All you'll have from me is a song Maybe I'm marching on better days But everything just feels the same Maybe the fun is yet to come Perhaps I walk when I should run When we walk, were walking dead A piece of cloth with a common thread They say time can mend all wounds But it can rip some new ones too I had this crazy dream last night I just can't remember what it was Maybe I can get it back If I just think hard enough I can't recall what it was like But I swear it changed my life I need to get back there somehow I'm going back to catch it now
