Betrayal
A bond once strong, now broken lies, A friendship shattered, a heart that cries. The memories we shared, now tainted gray, A trust betrayed, in a most painful way. You spoke behind my back, with words so cold, Poisoning the minds, of those I hold. Your actions, a knife that stabbed me deep, A wound that festers, a pain I'd rather not keep. We once shared laughter, tears, and dreams, But now, your betrayal, it haunts my schemes. I thought our bond, was unbreakable and true, But now, I see, it was all just an illusion, through and through. The trust we built, over time and space, You shattered it, with a single, careless pace. I'm left to pick up, the pieces of my heart, And wonder, if we'll ever be friends, from the start. Your words, they cut, like a knife so fine, Leaving scars, that may never decline. I'm left to question, our friendship's past, And wonder, if it was ever truly meant to last. Betrayal's sting, it burns so deep, A pain that lingers, a wound that creeps. I'll learn to heal, to mend the tears, But for now, I'll grieve, through all the years.
