Betrayal.

The word betrayal is a painful word... being betrayed is a feeling that seems to leave a pain like a knife piercing through your soul... yes betrayal is like a scar that keeps opening and aching... betrayal preys on the one who least expects it. Weather it'll be from family, friends or spouse... betrayal is an unavoidable and tragic fate... betrayal is a darkness that tries to corrupt and darken the soul...when the sun goes down and the darkness fills the sky my mind occasionally drift to those nights of betrayal... what I seen and what was done and what was said... those thoughts cloud my mind like heavy gray rain cloud... as I'm reminded of how easy that mind can be tricked... at night I tend to glance up at the sky now filled with bright beautiful stars...I'm reminded once again that there really is light after the darkness of betrayal.
