Betrayal
Never got betrayed by a mysterious night, But a bright and clear day robbed me of trust. Never lost in a battlefield filled with enemies, But lost where, with pride, I beated my chest. A sword never even touched my skin, But a dagger went straight through soul. No needle ever had the strength to prick me, But what cut me was my own shoes' sole. I killed those cobras who looked in my eyes, But didn't notice the serpent, which I kept. All the wounds healed which were made by other's, But the wound of my own weapon is still intact. Silenced every mouth who spoke against me, But their hate for me was made by my close one. Even now, after I know this, I can't silence her, Silencing her is the task that's the hardest one. I will just forgive but never ever forget, The hate she filled me with will never perish. But let's focus on good side, I got to know her true face and that I cherish.
