Beneath The Starry Sky
I looked up at the sky last night. It was quiet. The kind of quiet that makes you stop thinking for a while. The stars were everywhere— small, soft lights just hanging there, like they had all the time in the world. I didn’t need to say anything. Didn’t need to do anything. Just sat there, breathing, feeling a little less alone. The wind was cool, the kind that brushes your face like it knows you. And the moon— she just sat there, glowing, not asking questions. I thought about stuff. Things I miss. Things I hope for. People I wish were still around. But the stars didn’t judge. They just stayed. And for once, that was enough.
