Beneath the Quiet Sky
Beneath the quiet sky so wide, I lay my thoughts where dreams reside. The wind is soft, the world stands still, And time forgets to climb the hill. The stars are hush, the moon is shy, A silver tear in twilight's eye. No voice, no rush, just silence deep, That cradles earth in solemn sleep. The trees don’t speak, yet seem to know The ache of hearts that come and go. Their branches reach like open arms, Unmoved by fear, untouched by harms. Beneath the sky, I breathe and feel A quietness that helps me heal. No noise, no need to question why— Just peace… beneath the quiet sky.
