I know I said we have to be our own people but I'm not even a person without you maybe this whole thing implodes and nothing works but at least we tried I will not look at you and tell myself that it's time to walk away will stand in these moments forever even when it's hard there is nobody else for me you make me totally vulnerable whole as if I never fell apart I want to be your lover and your best friend because you are my home I have seen over a thousand sets of eyes but I only ever got lost in yours so please recognize my heart and let me prove that this is worth every fight every second wasted every burned bridge and closeted skeleton I can't do everything for everyone but I can give my all to you this, my love, is where we belong.
