Like a ship without a compass So am I, one without any loving companion And so, on days when everything seems not so sunny and bright I find myself asking if I wasn't cut out to receive any compassion There are times when I feel like I'm all alone in this fight Times when I'm burdened but have no one to share my plight Times when I'm hurdled up alone in solitary blight Hoping there'd be one to see through my barrier and shine their light I find myself longing to belong Searching for a place where I can feel among One or two that I can regard my safe place Hoping that one day, I'd get to comprehend and find my solace Maybe then I'd get that sense of belonging Hopefully, I'd get to understand what it means to belong and fit in ©Mega_word
