being insecure
Insecurity, a whispered doubt, A shadow lurking, creeping out. A gnawing fear, a constant ache, Where self-worth crumbles, and confidence breaks. It whispers lies, a siren's call, "You're not enough," it echoes tall. A fragile shell, a hollow core, Where self-acceptance struggles to soar. A tapestry of flaws, a tangled thread, Where imperfections are magnified, instead. Comparison's cruel, a constant sting, Leaving wounds that bleed, and make you cling. But deep within, a flicker of light, A whisper of truth, shining bright. For insecurity is a cloak we wear, Hiding the beauty that's truly there. To face the doubt, to shed the fear, To embrace the flaws, and hold them dear. For in vulnerability, strength we find, A resilient spirit, unbound and kind. So let the whispers fade away, And let your true self come to play. For in the depths of insecurity's embrace, Lies the potential for grace.
