Being Eaten Alive
I used to think to lose one's life is the worse kind of losing. But it's not. It's when something malignant growing steadily draining energy gnawing within you little by little tormenting you while you're still living is far worst and more traumatic than death. Like a deer kicking the air being eaten alive by a pack of wild dogs.
