Behind My Mask
Behind my mask there's pain. I've had this pain for a while. No one truly cares but somehow I still smile. Behind my mask there's suffering. I'm always suffering in secret. I want peace and joy, so I try my best to seek it. Behind my mask there's trauma. It really triggers my mind. People always invalidate what I've been through and it hurts me every time. Behind my mask there's sorrow. My tears flows down my cheeks. I still get treated like dirt even when I'm depressed and weak. Behind my mask there's regret. I regret thinking my enemies will change. But their narcissistic ways remains the same. Behind my mask there's a fighter. A fighter who's trying to stay strong. I must return back to Jesus, cause with Him is where I belong.
