BEGINNING AGAIN POEM
BEGINNING AGAIN POEM There was a time I couldn't see the dawn, Nights too long at the light felt gone I carried my silence like a stone I Thinking I'd always walk alone. But healing doesn't shout it hums In tiny steps, soft as drums One breath,on tear, one steady beat Slowing, pulling me to my feet I learned that the heart can crack and grow That broken things still learn to grow The some pain that brought me to my knees Taught me how to stand with ease Now the sun still hides every day But I've learned to find my own ways Im not fixed,im finding how To love,to live, and to start right
