In a night draped thick with shadows, I yielded to their velvet call, My soul entwined with the Devil's in a dance destined to fall. I craved a fire, a burning touch, his eyes like embers in the gloom, But it was an illusion, a mirage built in a shadowed, barren room. His words, like honeyed poison, dripped from lips’ colour of sin, Each touch was a spark that ignited fires, burning deep within. He promised forever a kingdom dark and utterly his, Innocently loving, I was lost in the Devil's seductive kiss. Drowning in promises, whispered lies from his glossy, tempting mouth, He painted a world of endless pleasure, leading me south, Further from grace, deeper into the labyrinth of his wicked game, Blind to the price, consumed by the Devil's ravenous flame. But then, a dawn broke through the darkness, a light both gentle and bold, A heart of pure, untainted gold, a story waiting to be told. He showed me the stars beyond the smoke, the sun beyond the rain, And offered a love that shattered the Devil's deceptive chain. He proposed a love, a sanctuary built on truth and grace, A promise of redemption, a comforting, warm embrace. And at that moment, the scales fell,
