Before I disappear 🫠
I’m Sorry It’s 4 a.m. I’m drowning in tears, A letter half-written, Before I disappear. It begins with— “I’m sorry, Mom, I lost my spark, And grew so numb. I never realized It had gone this far, Until I saw my own eyes And it left a scar. I can’t bear the sight Of my face, these marks, So I stay up at night Just staring at stars. I lost my momentum, My strength, my drive, I can’t fight back The hate that survives. I’m sorry, Mom, Somehow I got worse, I drowned in the storm, And broke in its curse.” I finished the letter, And thought it was the end, Life wouldn’t get better, So I stopped it again. ~M_shaa🤍
