Been Awhile

It's been awhile since I've put pen to paper. Months since I've had a smile that didn't taper. No bright eyes just a normal everyday stare No tears to cry either my days are just fair.. It's been awhile since I held someone's hand. my days are just mild not spicy just bland. I'm not complaining just weeks drag on. Not a moment draining though minutes are long. It's been awhile since my love left me. it's just not my style to replace what used to be. Again I'm fine not searching for anything. there's plenty of time but what will it bring. It's been awhile since hope left me mile after mile head down Nothing to see. My marker is tomorrow that will be the day. No I walk with sorrow my finish lines were yesterday.
