Bedroom
Here, I lay in my bed staring at the blank ceiling I begin to ask myself whether life even has a meaning The darkness of this room consumes me Where I'm left with only thoughts and feelings The bed beneath me holds the weight of everything I've ever thought or dreampt The silk pillow I lay my head on holds the tears as they fall down my cheeks The blanket that covers me holds me tight as there is no one else to do so The silence listens to my thoughts with open ears I close my eyes as my conscious drifts away into a world of my own imagination A peaceful bliss until the next day
