Because, That's Why!
There are so many things I see, That really make no sense to me. Too many people love to hate. I pity them, but it's not too late. When I thought of the reason why, That's when logic passed me by. It's a mystery of life; Hard to learn but very rife. These other questions come to me, But no real answers can I see: Why do people have to die? Why do babies have to cry? Why do children always ask why? Why are parents never wrong? Why do outsiders not belong? Why can't all people get along? Why are leaders out of touch? Why does heartache hurt so much? Why do friends leave you in a clutch? The answers may be obvious to you. (Sometimes it's faith that pulls me through.) And you may have more questions for this list, But I think you can get the gist. Sometimes when I ask the question, "why," I'm told, "just because! That's why!"
