beauty within
I watch as the clouds descend, For this night, I am my only friend, Bitter cold breeze careses my skin, As I ponder, moon throws a gentle grin. To shape my world, from what they see, From what I hear, and what they believed, I couldn't care less, yet I'm not relieved, Validation from the unknown, A silent torment I've always borne What a shame it must be, To betray what dwells within me, To not acknowledge and to lie, To be so disgraceful of a guy, To not be, who I am meant to be, To have a heart , yet to not feel, To have eyes, yet to not see, The very beauty that lies within me.
